Traditional Food from Sambas

     “Bubur Pedas is traditional food from Sambas in West Kalimantan. When we heard by the name it must be spicy. But, hold on. People know it by Sambas’s culture.
   
Description
     People eat bubur pedas when they open fasting. Usually it serve in the same event, like : married, ceremony, culture, birthday, etc.. Bubur pedas is very delicious because it made from varieties of traditional vegetable that taken from the leaf and bud.
     The main spices are roasted and ground rice maked with finely ground part, plus pepper coriander and other kind “Bubur Pedas” as Congee King because, almost of all ingredients come included. To -soumake Bubur pedas you must prepare the ingredients : rice, corn, other herb leaves.
